Britt Baker has had a long career in her time in professional wrestling, and with it comes a litany of injuries that she recently detailed.

Speaking to Diamond Dallas Page on the DDP’s Gauntlet podcast, Baker detailed some of the many injuries she’s had to recover from throughout her time in professional wrestling. These include things like back injuries, including two herniated discs.

“I had quite a few injuries. I had two herniated discs in my back. One in my neck. The problem area is the L5-S1,” said Baker (via Fightful). “That affects your hips, your legs, everything. There are days where, if I didn’t get the shot before my match, if I went down, I’m not getting back up.”

Britt Baker was also asked about her back injury (the interview took part while Baker was still rehabbing an injury in June), and if she remembers when it happened. Baker said it was a chronic thing she was dealing with, and that after a match with Kris Statlander, she knew she had to get it looked at, and also revealed other injuries she suffered in a short time.

Britt Baker normally doesn’t recall knowing she was injured during a match

“I don’t really remember a specific match where I was like, ‘this hurts.’ It was just over time. ‘This is getting harder. This is getting harder.’ The last match I did was against Statlander at Penn State,” Baker said. “I knew then. I got through the match, she’s fantastic, she’s one of my favorite competitors. I knew after that, ‘I’m done. I need to take a step back and rehab some stuff.’

“I’ve had so many (injuries),” she added. “I broke my leg, I broke my wrist, I broke my nose. My back. In a two year span. Now, I have like a small tear in my hip and labrum, I know that’s from the back and favoring it different.”
