Happy pre-Independence Day everyone! Before most of the American public takes a day off tomorrow, AEW Dynamite hangs ten for their explosive Beach Break special tonight.

To kick off the night, Renee Paquette is backstage talking to Willow Nightingale before her semi-final match in the Owen Hart Cup Tournament against Kris Statlander. Despite being brought down by the odds at bay, Nightingale is determined to go out there with a smile.

Later on, Paquette is also backstage talking with AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mariah May. May goes head-to-head with Hikaru Shida in the semi-finals of the Owen Hart Cup Tournament, this Friday on Rampage. Storm gives some encouragement to May, and even says that Mina Shirakawa is watching via satellite.

Next, is the heated matchup between Nightingale and Statlander. And before the match can even begin, the two start trading blows on the entrance ramp and Statlander takes a tumble down to the ring due to a wild Pounce. The bell finally rings and the two are determined to get revenge, even playing dirty as Statlander pokes the eyes of Nightingale.

The two are back and forth and come out with some big moves, but just can’t seem to put each other away.

As a last resort, Stokeley hands Statlander some chains to finally end it once and for all, but Statlander miscues almost hitting Stokeley. Nightingale rolls Statlander up and gets the win to advance to the finals.

After her long-awaited return at Forbidden Door, Britt Baker is back on Dynamite to address the crowd. Baker explains her absence for the past 10 months and says she suffered from a Transient Ishemic Attack (TIA) and couldn’t feel the right side of her body. She tells the fans that she feels healthy and ready to get back in action. In regards to the new face of TBS, she says the only three letters that matter is D.M.D.

Meanwhile, Mercedes Moné arrives to the arena in style and is ready to celebrate her new reign as Two Beltz Moné. The crew sets up the celebration, meanwhile Baker is still in the ring.

Moné doesn’t take too kindly to Baker taking her spotlight, and the crowd doesn’t take too kindly to Moné either. Baker iterates that she is the one who helped build the division and she wants to go All In on Moné. The TBS Champion tells her to shove it and get to the back of the line. Baker proceeds to ask “Bitch, What Line?” Moné acknowledges Baker’s fan behavior and leaves dropping another line of hers.

What did you think of AEW Dynamite’s Beach Break special? Are you All In for Mercedes Moné vs Britt Baker?
