Brock Lesnar is viewed as the Alpha male of our species and it’s not hard to see why, as he is one of the only names in combat sports to have dominated both MMA as well as pro wrestling. Interestingly enough, Lesnar intentionally kept WWE in the dark about getting a tattoo as well.

The Beast Incarnate made his debut in Ohio Valley Wrestling back in 2000 and honed his craft for a couple of years before debuting on the main roster in 2002. Before his main roster debut, Lesnar underwent some big changes, especially when it comes to getting a tattoo.

While speaking on the Gigantic Pop podcast, former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan shared an interesting story about Brock Lesnar during his time in Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Matt Morgan revealed that Brock Lesnar ended up getting a back tattoo and didn’t bother to inform WWE, especially Jim Cornette or Jim Ross. Naturally, both of them were very angry at Lesnar for keeping WWE in the dark as WWE owned the likeness to Lesnar. Even then, Lesnar couldn’t care less and he ended up getting another tattoo on top of it.

”Brock in Ohio Valley Wrestling, Brock went out and got a back tattoo, and Jim Cornette did not know what to do with it.’ He’s like, ‘What the heck are you doing?’ He’s like, ‘Even J.R. was pissed.’ He’s like, ‘Your likeness is ours. What you put on your body is important. We need to know because there’s gonna be action figures of you, posters of you, pictures of you. You’re gonna be inside buses and things like that, right?’ He didn’t care. He didn’t care at all. He got more. He got another tattoo on top of it.”

As for Brock Lesnar’s current situation, he remains absent from WWE television since SummerSlam 2023 due to legal complications stemming from Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit.

Ringside News has exclusively reported that there have been no indications of Brock Lesnar returning to WWE anytime soon. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see when The Beast Incarnate will return to WWE television, as there’s always the chance he got another tattoo during his hiatus.
