This Saturday is the biggest event of the summer for WWE. It is the SummerSlam Premium Live Event. The show is crucial for one of the rising stars in the business. It is none other than the two-time NXT World Champion Bron Breakker as he will challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. The reason this title match is crucial for Breakker is the fact that the last time he challenged Zayn for the title, he was unsuccessful. Ever since losing the title match at Money In The Bank, Breakker has been gunning for Zayn and to have a rematch.
Bron Breakker also defeated his former rival Ilja Dragunov to earn his rematch. It is also to be noted that Breakker has been attacking Zayn during his matches for the past few weeks on Raw. That is exactly what he tried to do again this week. But the Intercontinental Champion was one step ahead of his challenger and stood tall at the end of the night.
Following Raw, on Raw Talk, Jackie Redmond tried to get an interview with Breakker. But the former NXT World Champion did not say much. He was focussed on his match at SummerSlam and assured that he will walk out as the new Intercontinental Champion.
“Film crew, guys we are done all right? I am not doing any more interviews. Turn the… Turn the lights off. We are done. You want… You want a message for SummerSlam? I’m going to kick Sami Zayn’s a**. Become the new Intercontinental Champion. All Right? Interview over. Good Night,” Bron Breakker said.
