Bron Breakker says Carmelo Hayes is his greatest rival.
Speaking on Indiana’s 99.5 WKDQ, Breakker named Carmelo Hayes as his greatest rival. He highlighted their past and said that he expects to clash with him in the future. (H/t Wrestling Inc.)
“Yeah, I’d say [Hayes] up to this point,” Breakker said. “We stayed away from each other just to build the tension from one another. I’m excited to build our relationship over the years while being on the main roster. … Maybe take it to the next step as him and I get better [and] progress in our careers as well.
“Things are only going to get better for him and I,” Breaker continued. “I’m sure him and I are going to go back and forth hundreds and hundreds of times over the years. Just something I’m looking forward to.”
Bron Breakker On Gunther
Breakker also has history with Gunther, and he expressed his interest in facing “The Ring General”. During the same interview, he commented on potentially challenging for the world title.
“Well, I don’t know (when I’ll win my first World Title). I think, as far as the World Heavyweight Championship, GUNTHER is the champion right now. GUNTHER’s been exceptional in everything that he’s done. I have a lot of respect for him. GUNTHER is an outstanding talent. I don’t foresee him losing that championship, for a while. I could be wrong but, I think GUNTHER versus myself would be an absolute showdown. It’s a pay-per-view-worthy match I think and I think obviously, one day, me and Roman Reigns has gotta be the agenda at some point. He’s the best, he’s the greatest of all-time. I think that’s gotta happen at some point. It’s gonna be down the line obviously just because he’s such a huge star but I think one day, that would be my dream match really to get to. It would be him.” [H/T POST Wrestling]
