Bron Breakker is excited to keep climbing to the top in WWE.
The former NXT Champion’s rapid rise to superstardom continued at WWE SummerSlam. There, he beat Sami Zayn to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship, his first title in WWE.
In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Bron Breakker reflected on transitioning from football to WWE. He also stated that he was born to be in WWE.
“Hitting people, I loved hitting people,” Breakker said. “Breaking people in half, being physical, that’s the way I was taught to play the game. I loved playing football, but I was born to be here in WWE.”
“That’s the goal, make people feel something. One step at a time, and I’m excited to keep climbing and doing big things.”
Bron Breakker On The ‘Bron Cam’
Breakker also commented on “The Bron Cam”, which WWE uses to highlight his speed when he runs around the ring. He then noted that making contact was second nature to him.
“The Bron Cam, that’s my camera,”he said. “Someone saw me running, and thought, ‘We should shoot this from the sky. Running on the perimeter, picking up speed, making contact, that’s all second nature to me.”
Breakker will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn on the August 12 episode of WWE RAW. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
