Former NXT Champion Bron Breakker has had a monstrous rise to the top on the main roster. He captured his first title since his move to the main roster at WWE SummerSlam. There, he defeated Sami Zayn at SummerSlam to win the Intercontinental Championship.

In a recent interview with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Bron Breakker noted that Paul Heyman had been a crucial part of his run on the main roster.

“It has been a combination of a lot of people,” Bron Breakker said. “Paul Heyman is someone who has been a crucial hand in me on the main roster. CM Punk as well. So many people. The whole locker room has been so helpful in some form or fashion. Since being up here, it has been great to be a part of everything.”

Bron Breakker: I Was Born To Be In WWE

Bron Breakker has hit the ground running on the main roster. He has fit right in, and he is viewed as one of the company’s brightest stars. Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, he commented on his current run.

“Hitting people, I loved hitting people,” Breakker said. “Breaking people in half, being physical, that’s the way I was taught to play the game. I loved playing football, but I was born to be here in WWE.”

“That’s the goal, make people feel something. One step at a time, and I’m excited to keep climbing and doing big things.”

Breakker recently retained his title in a Two-Out-of-Three Falls match against Sami Zayn on the August 12 episode of WWE RAW.
