In less than a year into his main roster run, the former NXT World Champion Bron Breakker managed to capture one of WWE’s most prestigious championships, the Intercontinental Championship. Last week on Monday Night Raw, Breakker was unsuccessful in his title defense against Main Event Jey Uso.

Considering his success in WWE, Breakker addresses what his future looks like and about wrestling big stars such as the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and The Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.

While speaking to Travis Sams of WKDQ 99.5, Bron Breakker mentioned that him challenging Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship would be huge. Breakker also mentioned that facing Roman Reigns is also one of his dream matches.

“Well, I don’t know (when I’ll win my first World Title). I think, as far as the World Heavyweight Championship, GUNTHER is the champion right now. GUNTHER’s been exceptional in everything that he’s done. I have a lot of respect for him. GUNTHER is an outstanding talent. I don’t foresee him losing that championship, for a while. I could be wrong but, I think GUNTHER versus myself would be an absolute showdown. It’s a pay-per-view-worthy match I think and I think obviously, one day, me and Roman Reigns has gotta be the agenda at some point. He’s the best, he’s the greatest of all-time. I think that’s gotta happen at some point. It’s gonna be down the line obviously just because he’s such a huge star but I think one day, that would be my dream match really to get to. It would be him.” [H/T POST Wrestling]

It is also to be noted that Breakker has defeated Gunther on NXT TV. Breakker successfully retained his NXT Championship over Gunther on the April 5, 2022 episode of NXT.

Bron Breakker is unsure about his next chapter after losing the Intercontinental Championship

During the same interview, Breakker shared that he is unsure of what is next for him.

“You know, I don’t know, I don’t know (what’s next for me). I don’t back down from anybody but certainly, right now, future’s a little bit unknown. I’m not really sure. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.”

The former Intercontinental Champion also feels that going after Jey Uso in an attempt to win back the Work Horse Title makes the most sense.

“I think so (I’d be going after Jey Uso if I had my way). It was my championship. I have a right to a rematch. I think that’s how that typically goes. We’ll see. I don’t know. If that’s not my place and I’m needed elsewhere or something else comes up, I’ll answer the call,” Bron Breakker said.
