BRS accuses BJP of creating a divided India, not a developed India

The BRS criticized the BJP manifesto, saying that the ruling party talks about ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India) but actually creates ‘Vibhajit Bharat’ (divisive India). Reacting to the manifesto, BRS senior leader T Harish Rao stated that it is full of slogans and lacks substance. He gave examples to show that the manifesto does not address the demands of women, youth, poor, and farmers.

Rao pointed out that despite demands for the Centre to waive farmers’ loans, the manifesto does not promise any relief. He criticized the Modi government for waiving loans of corporate companies but not farmers. The manifesto also does not mention building irrigation projects with Central funds or providing tax exemptions for the middle class, workers, and artisans.

The BRS leader questioned the BJP’s promise of creating two crore jobs annually, as well as the lack of mention of increasing BC reservation in legislatures. He criticized the party for only making promises to BCs, SCs, and STs without guaranteeing anything concrete. Rao also noted the absence of commitments to SC, ST categorization and the development of metro cities like Hyderabad.

Rao urged people to reject the BJP manifesto and not vote for the party in the upcoming elections.
