Conrad Thompson shares a health update on WWE’s Bruce Prichard.

It seems as though the injury bug has come back around to WWE in recent weeks. On January 22, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins revealed that he had sustained a grade 2 MCL tear and a partially torn meniscus. One week later, former WWE Champion CM Punk confirmed that he suffered a torn triceps during the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble, meaning a match at WrestleMania 40 was now off the table. A recent report also stated Kevin Owens worked through his Royal Rumble United States Championship match with a fractured foot.

A new Twitter post has indicated that long-time WWE executive Bruce Prichard is also dealing with a health concern. According to Conrad Thompson, Prichard will be undergoing triceps surgery this morning, with the goal of recording their next Something To Wrestle podcast episode on Saturday. Outside of co-hosting the podcast with Thompson, Prichard also currently serves as the Executive Director of WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown, leading both of the brands’ writing teams.

News of Prichard’s triceps surgery comes over a month after he underwent shoulder surgery (h/t Post Wrestling). Following his shoulder operation, Prichard was set to begin the rehabilitation process on December 26.

WrestleZone will provide more information about Bruce Prichard’s status as it becomes available
