Bryan Danielson had some harsh words for Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite.
The AEW Champion defeated Wheeler Yuta on Dynamite, beating him so badly the referee had to stop the match. He used this as a warning for Bryan Danielson, as he prepares for their match at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.
Swerve also told the American Dragon that he hopes his daughter is at ringside for their match, so she can watch him cripple her father live in the ring. As you would expect, this did not thrill the former WWE Champion.
In an exclusive promo on AEW’s Twitter account after Dynamite,he addressed Swerve Strickland.
He warned that for attacking Wheeler Yuta and mentioning his family, Bryan Danielson will get a new side of me that will “kick his fucking head in”. He added that he is going to go to Wembley Stadium and win the AEW World Championship from Swerve Strickland.
“Okay, here’s the thing. As if it wasn’t enough for this to be my last chance to wrestle for the AEW Championship. As if it wasn’t enough that if I lose this match, then I retire. And never wrestle again. As if that wasn’t enough, you hurt Wheeler Yuta—he’s like a son to me! If all of that wasn’t enough, you mentioned my daughter. You mentioned crippling me in front of my daughter.”
“Guess what, Swerve? You are not going to get underdog Bryan Danielson, and you are not getting Bryan Danielson who’s going to fight from behind. You’re going to get the Bryan Danielson that goes out there and kicks people’s fucking heads in! That’s what you’ve got coming at Wembley Stadium.”
Bryan Danielson: Your Fate At Wembley Is Sealed
Bryan Danielson continued. He warned Swerve to not break into his house, like he did for Hangman Adam Page earlier this year.
The former WWE Champion ended by stating that his fate is sealed, and he will become the new AEW Champion at AEW All In.
“I don’t think you know what you just did—doing what you did to Wheeler, talking about my family. I saw what you did to Hangman when you broke into his house. Don’t you dare do that to me. Check what happened to the last person that broke into my house. Even for what you just did out there tonight, your fate at Wembley is sealed. I will be the new AEW World Champion.”
