EXCLUSIVE: Buchwald has hired Brian Sacripanti and Sam Yabrow, a pair of talent agents most recently working at the now-shuttered A3 Artists Agency. Both are expected to bring several clients to Buchwald, with Sacripanti to work out of the agency’s Los Angeles offices, and Yabrow to be based in New York.
“We are thrilled to have these two dynamic and passionate talent agents join our team,” Buchwald West Coast President Julia Buchwald and West Coast Co-Head Ryan Martin told Deadline. “With their arrival, we see not just the promise of tomorrow, but the vibrant pulse of our industry’s future. Their dedication to nurturing emerging talent and embracing new industry trends will undoubtedly propel us forward.”
Sacripanti spent the last three and a half years at A3, balancing a roster of emerging and established talent. He began his career at Grandview, where he started as an assistant before moving his way up and managing clients of his own.
Yabrow initially made his mark at A3 from 2017 to 2019 before rejoining in the fall of 2020, finding a passion there for identifying and developing talent, and helping clients to craft impactful and enduring careers. His journey in the industry began during his college years, when he interned under 7x Emmy-nominated casting director Bernie Telsey, and during his hiatus from A3, he further honed his knowledge of Telsey’s domain while working under a casting director at Stewart/Whitley.
Sacripanti and Yabrow are just the latest A3 agents to find their next destination following that agency’s dissolution. Most recently, talent agent Fatmata Kamara went to Independent Artist Group, with Aron Giannini joining CESD as Co-Head of its L.A. Theatrical Talent Department and Ross Silver as an Agent in its New York Theatrical Talent Department. Talent agent Pietra Ingenito went to Prototype, with lit agents Ron Gwiazda and Amy Wagner moving to Stewart Talent, to launch the agency’s New York literary division. Other recent A3 news included Doug Fronk heading to Gersh to serve as SVP and TV Lit Agent, Talent Agent Rob Cassandro going to Innovative Artists, and Ben Izzo and Lucy Powis joining Michael Moore Agency.
