House of Black member Buddy Matthews suffered an apparent injury during the main event of tonight’s episode of AEW Collision.

Buddy Matthews looked great in the ring early on, but after delivering a top rope Meteora, it appeared that Matthews injured his knee. He was looked over by medical staff and Malakai Black before being taken in the back.

Brody King and Malakai Black continued the match two on three, eventually receiving a timely assist from PAC, which allowed House of Black to pick up the win.

Following the match, The Patriarchy appeared on the screen, and Christian Cage congratulated House of Black on becoming the number one contender to the AEW Trios Titles, but there was a problem…they’re no longer a trio.

The camera panned down to Matthews, who was lying on a chair with another one nearby. The implication was that Cage took him out with a Conchairto.

It’s currently unknown if Buddy’s injury was real or not, but we’re sure we’ll find out soon enough.
