The ratings battle between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite has always been a heated topic among wrestling fans, but the November 6th showdown left no doubt—NXT emerged victorious.

The episode drew 619,000 viewers with a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic, outperforming AEW Dynamite, which pulled in 523,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the same key demographic. This significant win added to NXT’s recent streak of victories over AEW, and Bully Ray wasted no time in taking credit for the success.

In an update following the victory, Bully Ray doubled down on his claim as the reason for NXT’s triumph. During a virtual signing with Signed By Superstars, the wrestling legend mocked Chris Jericho, who famously dubbed himself the “Demo God” during AEW’s more successful runs.

“NXT beat AEW in the ratings last night! Why? [points to himself] Ratings God! Not the demo god but the rating’s god. Take that, Chris Jericho!” Bully Ray proclaimed with a smirk.

Bully’s confident declaration came after he played a major role in the November 6 episode, teaming with Trick Williams in a match against Ridge Holland and Ethan Page, and witnessing a surprise appearance from D-Von Dudley.

The presence of ECW nostalgia seemed to resonate with the fans, helping NXT edge out its competition. Bully Ray’s involvement, along with D-Von’s surprise cameo, brought a wave of excitement to the show that viewers clearly appreciated.

It remains to be seen if AEW can turn the tide in future matchups, but for now, Bully Ray is basking in his moment of glory, proudly claiming the title of “Ratings God” and taking a playful jab at Jericho in the process.
