Not necessarily scheduled to battle at the top of the table, Augbsurg is defying the predictions. Facing Union Berlin this Friday on the 29th day of the Bundesliga, the Bavarian club won 2-0 and is only three points from 6th place, currently occupied by Frankfurt.

German striker Phillip Tietz scored his 8th goal of the season upon returning from the locker room (47th, 1-0), before being imitated by Sven Michel at the end of the match (81st, 2-0). Thanks to this success, Augsburg climbs to 7th place in the ranking. Union Berlin, a nice surprise last year, remains stuck in 13th position.
