Award-winning Afrobeats singer Damini ‘Burna Boy’ Ogulu, and celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest have been going at each other on social media.
The rift started after Burna Boy threw indirect jibes at the socialite, referring to him as an ‘Azaman’.
“No forget say u be Azaman o and dem don gbe your plug wey him name na “Omo Igbo” for ATL and na u be next. #OwerriRickyrozay,” the singer wrote in Pidgin English on his Instagram Story.
In his response, Cubana Chief Priest alleged that the Grammy-winning singer was indebted to a London jeweller.
He also referred to Burna Boy’s relationship with American producer, P Diddy, who is currently in detention for alleged sex trafficking.
Cubana Chief Priest wrote, “Diddy oil the fastest way to PTSD you never see anything, you & your Bend down collect Grammy”.
He added, “Owerri Rick Ross. What a blessing!!! See where dem dey rate me put. Me & Rosay #CPNosmall 2018 na 1m Naira i pay you to perform as back up arrtist for my birthday. I get pictures and videos where you dey perform for me. I go lie for you. We don dey chop this money before you meet us for queue be humble small boy.”
In response, Burna Boy wrote: “You don score yourself. Everybody in Lagos knows my style, all my shit paid for, sometimes cash sef. If not i for dey all the blogs by now for owing debts like your boss. Go to Coscharis and service any of your stolen cars abeg i wan see something. Rooozaaay!! ”Igbo voice” make i relax actually, i no want make you go jail. Azaman way suppose dey hide himself. I only talk facts. And i dont live in glass house so my stones dey fly.”
The socialite is a close associate of singer Davido who is Burna Boy’s rival.
