Burna Boy mocks South Africans after white woman won Miss SA pageantry following Chidinma Adetshina’s withdrawal

Grammy Award winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu also known as Burna Boy has mocked South Africans after a white woman, Mia Le Roux won the Miss SA pageantry following the withdrawal of Chidinma Vanessa Adetshina.

TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports Adetshina on Thursday in a formal statement, withdrew from the beauty pageant following attacks over her Nigerian ancestry.

Chidimma, born to Nigerian and Mozambican parents, endured a series of severe xenophobic attacks from the South African public after she was named among the ten finalists set to compete in the Miss South Africa grand finale on August 10, 2024, in Pretoria.

Reacting to the emergence of Mia Le Roux as Miss South Africa, Burna Boy on Sunday via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter wrote; So after all that.. ? with a laughing emoji

The Free State-born model is the first deaf person to be crowned Miss South Africa. She will also be the first contestant at the Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico with such a disability to take part in the competition.

Le Roux was diagnosed with profound hearing loss at the age of 1 and has a cochlear implant. For her tenure, she walks away with the Mowana crown, a lavish fully furnished apartment, a Mercedes Benz, R1 million and more prizes.
