Bybit partners with SATOS to launch regulated Dutch crypto platform.

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit announced today the launch of a regulated digital asset platform in the Netherlands through a partnership with SATOS. The Bybit.nl will provide Dutch users with access to over 300 trading pairs, fiat onramps, and other features while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

“We are thrilled to launch our regulated digital asset platform in the Netherlands, furthering our commitment to serving users while upholding regulatory compliance,” said Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO of Bybit. “Through our partnership with SATOS, we aim to provide Dutch users with a secure and seamless trading experience, backed by industry-leading security measures and unparalleled support.”

SATOS is a crypto service provider operating in the Netherlands and Belgium since 2013. The firm is supervised by the Dutch National Bank to guarantee security and reliability.

According to the announcement, key benefits of the new platform include versatile trading tools, localized community support, and a gateway to Bybit’s Web3 features like its Web3 wallet.

Bybit’s efforts to expand its operations might be paying off. As reported by Crypto Briefing, the exchange is one of Binance’s competitors that has been able to grow its market share in 2023, according to a report by TokenInsight.

However, the crypto trading platform faced a hurdle recently, with Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission flagging Bybit as a “suspicious crypto platform” by operating in the country without a license.
