Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper revealed one of her most challenging celebrity guest interviews due to the pressure she put on herself ahead of time. She explained why. “I’m very competitive with myself, so I think every single interview—I’m obviously very hard on myself. I think there’s different levels to the intimidation or the stress,” Alex told E! News. She then did name the celeb guest whose interview was the biggest challenge due to pressure she put on herself: Zayn Malik. Zayn rarely gave interviews, so it was a big deal for him to be on a podcast like Call Her Daddy. She shared, “Zayn essentially coming out of retirement from doing interviews, I was putting pressure on myself to make sure that I was giving that person a really great environment to feel comfortable and to feel seen and to feel heard. And to not feel pressured into talking about things he didn’t want to talk about.” Zayn did reveal a LOT during his Call Her Daddy interview, including that situation with Yolanda Hadid (who is Gigi Hadid‘s mother). If you don’t know, in 2021, Yolanda claimed that Zayn “struck” her while he was alone with one-year-old Khai. Zayn had denied this. After that news, it was reported that Gigi and Zayn had split.
