Still on vacation, Eduardo Camavinga, the Real Madrid and French national team midfielder, appears in a photo with the notorious American boxer Ryan Garcia, recently suspended for racist and Islamophobic remarks.
Before starting his pre-season preparation with Real Madrid in a few days, probably at the same time as Kylian Mbappé on August 6 in the Spanish capital, Eduardo Camavinga is enjoying his vacation. The Merengues and French national team midfielder has been very good friends with Vinicius for some time and has once again spent some quality time with the new Brazilian star, particularly in Los Angeles. It is a photo of “Cama” with Ryan Garcia, an American boxer, that is causing controversy on social media.
It must be said that “King Ryan” has been accumulating scandals for some time. And it is very serious. Suspended for a year after testing positive for ostarine, an anabolic agent, last April, the day of a fight (won) against Devin Haney in New York, the Californian of Mexican origin, holder of the interim WBC lightweight title in 2021, was excluded by the World Boxing Council after racist and Islamophobic remarks made during a space on X.
Ryan Garcia uses Camavinga
Garcia has made insulting remarks about Muslims and African-Americans, boasting that he is a sympathizer of the Ku Klux Klan (the secret white supremacist terrorist organization in the United States). In a completely shocking way, he wished to see George Floyd (killed by the Minneapolis police in 2020) come back to life in order to “kill this… again”.
The 25-year-old boxer wrote a lunar apology: “I take full responsibility for my words. I’m misunderstood, I’ve just had a lot of trauma. And these past few months have been rough as anyone can tell but I AM SORRY. I struggle with addiction and it’s hard for me with everything going on. I actually love black people which is why I’m being told I’ve offended all my black family and friends. It sucks but all I can do is be a better person, stop using stupid words and let some people around me help me. Sorry to everyone I’ve offended.”. In his approach, he therefore published a photo with Eduardo Camavinga this week. We do not know if it is recent or not.
