The England star has not featured since a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool on May 6 and is eagerly anticipating his first appearance of the season.

The 27-year-old was unable to train with his teammates for the first three months of his suspension but returned to the club's performance centre in September.

Brentford's 3-1 defeat away to Crystal Palace on December 30 was the final Premier League game Toney was forced to be sidelined for.

Toney was unavailable to Thomas Frank for the club's 1-1 FA Cup draw against Brentford, but the replay has been scheduled for the week his ban expires.

No, Toney remains suspended for the Bee's trip to Wolves.

Toney's ban expires on Wednesday, January 17 - the day after Brentford's second attempt at reaching the FA Cup fourth round.

Unfortunately for the forward, had the game been rescheduled to take place as Everton v Crystal Palace, or Blackpool v Nottingham Forest then he would have been able to feature.

Instead, Toney will have to wait for Brentford's home clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, January 20.

Alan Pardew thinks Arsenal will struggle in the Premier League if they do not bring in a striker of the calibre of Brentford's Ivan Toney or Napoli's Victor Osimhen
