Candice LeRae made history, as she became the inaugural WWE Speed Women’s Champion.
LeRae and IYO SKY advanced to the finals by beating Kairi Sane and Naomi, respectively. They then clashed in the WWE Speed Women’s Championship Tournament Finals, which were held on the October 9th episode of WWE Speed. LeRae emerged victorious, as she blocked a moonsault from SKY and hit one of her own for the win.
Triple H then commented on the news and congratulated LeRae. He called her talented, determined, and hungry.
With the win, LeRae captured her first singles title in WWE. She is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.
