Surprising in its first results, the African Cup of Nations once again amazed the world this Sunday evening.

Cape Verde got the better of Ghana in Abdijan, with a meritorious score of 2 goals to 1.

The Blue Sharks struck first with Monteiro (17e), Djiku having set the record straight in the second half (56e). Rodrigues finally had the last word in added time (90e+2).

A brilliant move which allows the Cape Verdeans to take control of their group, ahead of Egypt and Mozambique who shared the points earlier in the day (2-2).
