Ousted from his position as Barça coach, Xavi leaves his club through the back door. The Catalan technician, after three years on the bench of FC Barcelona, was sacked by his managers, even though they had kept him in post throughout the second part of the season. For Carlo Ancelotti, his Real Madrid counterpart, his departure is a good thing.

This happened to me with Napoli, Bayern and Chelsea. The separation is a good thing for Barcelona and Xavi”he said in an interview in Chiringuito de Jugones.
