Carlos Alcaraz Shows Off Toned Shirtless Torso During Australian Open 2025 Practice Session

Carlos Alcaraz goes shirtless while practicing ahead of his next match at the 2025 Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Monday (January 20) in Melbourne, Australia.

The 21-year-old tennis star was seen training with his tennis coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, his physical trainer Alberto Lledo Quiles, and his older brother Alvaro.

Carlos will face off against Novak Djokovic once again on Tuesday (January 21) in the quarterfinal!

Ahead of their match, Carlos talked about all that Novak has accomplished, and going up against him in the upcoming match.

“Well, this is not the right player to play in a quarterfinal, I guess,” Carlos said, via ESPN. “But facing Novak, for me, it’s not going to change anything if I’m playing him [in a] quarterfinal or semifinal. Probably change a little bit if it is a final, obviously. Being in a quarterfinal, I’m going to approach the match the same as I did in the previous matches against him, and let’s see.”

In the times they’ve played each other in the past, Novak leads 4-3, but Carlos is ahead 2-1 at the majors. They even played against each other at the Olympics last year, where Novak took the gold after beating Carlos, who got silver.

“If I think about everything he has done in tennis, I couldn’t play. I mean, 24 Grand Slams, the most weeks at No. 1 — everything. He almost broke every record in tennis. I’m trying not to think about that when I’m in the match. I’m just trying … to beat him,” Carlos shared, via ESPN. “I know my weapons. I know that [if] I’m able to play good tennis against him, I’m able to beat him.”
