Carmella thanks the fans following her WWE departure.
On February 21st, Fightful Select reported that Carmella’s contract had expired, and she was no longer with the company.
In a recent post to her Instagram stories, Carmella said that she’s seen all the support for her, and she felt “blessed.” As for what the future holds, Carmella says more information will be coming soon, and she will be telling her side.
“Some news broke last week and I just wanted to let you know that I’ve seen all of your texts and tweets and messages and DMs. Oh my god, you guys are just the best, and I’m so grateful for you and everything that you’ve been saying about Carmella and my career, and I’m so blessed,” Carmella said. “So, thank you.
“I know there’s a lot of questions and uncertainty around everything. I will be going on a podcast later this week, answering some of those questions and telling my side, because I have a lot to say about the situation.”

Carmella had been absent from the ring since a live event in March 2023. She had been sidelined for months, as she was pregnant and she welcomed her baby into the world in November 2023. After giving birth, Carmella subsequently noted that she was battling drop foot.
