Carmelo Hayes comments on NXT Champion Trick Williams potentially moving to the WWE main roster.
Speaking with Gorilla Position, Carmelo Hayes was asked to comment on how he thought Truck Williams would do as a referee.
“I don’t know what he can do on the main roster because it’s been yet to be seen,” Hayes said. “This is a whole different beast. NXT is one thing. When I got here, it was a brand-new thing for me. I had to figure it out on my own, so that’s yet to be seen.
Carmelo Hayes On Transition To Main Roster
Hayes was then asked about transitioning to the main roster and whether there was a difference from NXT.
“Absolutely, yeah, and it wasn’t easy,” Carmelo Hayes said. “It’s still not easy. I’m still trying to figure out my footing and things like that. It’s easy to be the big fish in a small pond, but when you come up where everybody’s a shark, and all these guys have been doing it for a long time, you have to find out, get in where you fit in.”
