Carson Daly has found the secret to improving his physical and mental health: a daily ice-cold plunge.
“One year ago I was at this event at maybe one of the lower points in my mental health,” the “Today” show co-host, 51, told Page Six at the Project Healthy Minds Gala Thursday while standing next to his colleague Savannah Guthrie.
“Physically and mentally, I was a wreck, and I thought, ‘Next year I want to get better,'” he added.

“I’ve cold-plunged every day for a year,” he shared. “I have a home cold plunge. 40 degrees, literally two minutes every day.”
The “Voice” host cautioned that despite doing it daily, it never gets easier.
“It’s really hard to do, and it turns out doing hard things is good for you,” he told us.

Guthrie, 52, shared that she has tried a cold plunge, too, but “only lasted 30 seconds.”
“But I’m glad I did it,” she added. “It’s actually an amazing thing to do, but you have to have the guts to just dive in. You can’t tiptoe in it.”
When Page Six brought up a famous “Seinfeld” episode revolving around men and cold water, Daly immediately related.
