Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has commented on rumors he could leave Man United in the near future.
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro says he is ready to return to the field. And he is not thinking about leaving at all, even though he was mentioned as a possible starter. PSG would have been interested in his services.
Casemiro says he is happy at Manchester United
Casemiro is expected to feature in the FA Cup match at Newport on Monday evening. Before this meeting, the Brazilian spoke about his state of mind and his desire to continue as long as possible with the Red Devils.
“From day one, I was very well received by the club, the players and the supporters. I received so much love, on and off the field. It was a unique and magical experience, and I needed such an experience. I am very happy in Manchester, with everything that the city and the club offer me,” said the former Merengue.
“I’m happy about this and helping the club improve and get back on the path to success. So yes, I’m happy to play for Manchester United,” he added, denying speculation of spleen on his part.
He also said, “I am the type of person who focuses on short-term goals because life is full of long-term goals. But I focus on short-term goals. We must move forward step by step and continue to grow and achieve victories. Last year we won a trophy (the Carabao Cup) and it’s really important to win trophies.”
