Cassie Lee reflects on what might have been with some dream tag team matches in WWE that never ended up taking place.

Former WWE Superstar Cassie Lee (FKA Peyton Royce) was a recent guest on Ring The Belle. When asked about the scrapped plans for a dream match between The IIconics and The Bellas, Lee said all she knows is that they were supposed to have a storyline from WrestleMania to SummerSlam, but it never ended up happening.

“All I know is that we were supposed to go into a story apparently from Wrestlemania to SummerSlam. That’s all I know,” Cassie Lee admitted. Yeah, I know. That would have been a dream come true for us. But everything happens for a reason.”

When it was mentioned that Torrie Wilson recently revealed on another podcast that there were plans for her and Michelle McCool to take on the IIconics, Lee said this was the first time she had heard about that.

“Oh, stop! No, I didn’t! Oh my gosh. So many missed opportunities,” Cassie Lee said. “No, I had no idea that would have been a dream come true as well.”
