This new development underscores Catizen’s growing popularity and commitment to engaging the players on its platform. The game aims to create an interactive and highly immersive experience for players, combining virtual pets’ perks with blockchain technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

With such an innovative offering, Catizen is bound to strengthen its user base and enhance user engagement. Ultimately, the tap-to-earn game is on track to develop a wider ecosystem.

Significantly, the tap-to-earn game has grown in barely five months of launch. Catizen boasts a global user base of more than 29 million, while its Daily Active Users (DAU) have peaked at 3.5 million. The game’s user base grew from 26 million players in July to this current level. Catizen’s growth made it known as the fastest-growing application in the TON ecosystem, second only to Notcoin (NOT).

The Telegram-based game is backed by some of the most prominent investors across the Web3.0 ecosystem. These include Mantle, NGC Ventures, Mask Network, EMURGO Ventures, and PLUTO.

Catizen Enters Strategic Partnership with HashKey Group

Meanwhile, the upcoming Catizen mini-games announcement follows a recent strategic partnership with HashKey Group. The leading end-to-end digital asset financial services group made Catizen its first Web3 partner to build the next generation of GameFi and global digital entertainment infrastructure.

The partnership plans to harness HashKey’s license to provide Catizen community members with more compliant and reliable digital asset services. They also plan to deliver unique Web3.0 gaming experiences for global players and crypto asset users.

Ben El-Baz, Managing Director of HashKey Global, stated, “As a phenomenal product in the GameFi sector in 2024, Catizen offers possibilities for the future development of next-generation GameFi. Our goal is to provide compliant digital asset services to more players and, together with Catizen, explore the creation of a new paradigm that integrates digital finance and entertainment.”

Generally, Catizen is drawing positive attention to the TON ecosystem. In July, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov recognized the tap-to-earn game for earning up to $16 million from in-app purchases.
