Top fitness pros Tracy Anderson and Megan Roup have settled one part of their ongoing court battle.
Anderson — who has trained the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Lopez — filed a lawsuit in 2022 against Roup, whose toned clients include model Miranda Kerr, for alleged copyright infringement and breach of contract, plus false advertising and other claims.
Now Page Six hears the fit foes agreed to a confidential settlement over the breach of contract claims.

We hear she’ll continue to pursue the claim attempting to protect her copyrighted choreography.
Anderson’s lawyer, Gina Durham at DLA Piper, told Page Six in a statement, “Tracy and our team are satisfied that we have reached a resolution and agreement on the contract claim with Megan Roup through private settlement terms.”

Roup’s lawyer, Nathaniel Bach of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, told us, “Following Megan’s wins on Tracy’s copyright claim, Lanham Act claim, and unfair competition claim, the parties have resolved the remaining contract claim pursuant to a confidential agreement. All that remains of the case is that Ms. Anderson is now permitted to appeal the Court’s ruling dismissing her copyright claim, and we look forward to defending that win on appeal.”
Roup works with clients like Miranda Kerr. meganroup/InstagramIn June this year, a court dismissed claims of copyright infringement.
Back in September 2023, California judge Philip S. Gutierrez granted Roup’s motion to dismiss the false advertising claim, and told Anderson to pay Roup’s legal fees of nearly $164,000.
