Following in the footsteps of Jurgen Klopp and Xavi Hernandez, Thomas Tuchel today declared his decision to step down as manager of Bayern Munich at the end of the campaign.
Sitting eight points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen, the Bavarians are poised to miss out on the Bundesliga crown, which has led to Bayern Munich and Tuchel reaching an amicable resolution to part ways.

Tuchel a big fan of Barcelona
Indeed, as per Florian Plettenberg Tuchel is highly interested in joining FC Barcelona. He is among the other contenders on the list whom Barça are surveying.
In fact, Tuchel has been studying the Blaugranes‘ DNA for years. The German coach has spoken with Pep Guardiola and is enthralled by Barcelona’s hive of talent, La Masia.
He also met and shared ideas with the legendary Johan Cruyff of Barcelona, whose philosophy has shaped the club’s model.
The 50-year-old recently waxed lyrical about the mindset of Spanish players, with the information rendering him a huge fan of Spaniards and, above all, Barcelona.
While the Champions League winner is fully focused on the season with Bayern Munich as of now, Tuchel is eager to take over a new club in the summer, with Barcelona an option that especially appeals to him.
Nonetheless, the report adds that a return to the Premier League can also be expected, a league that he has already found considerable success in with Chelsea.
Tuchel’s enthusiasm for managing Barcelona makes him a very viable choice for the defending La Liga winners, though Roberto De Zerbi and Hansi Flick are also very much in the running.
