According to latest reports, Thomas Tuchel has made up his mind to join Manchester United rather than Chelsea this summer.

The German, who joined Chelsea to win the Champions League in 2021, has been strongly linked to a move to Old Trafford.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s arrival and an unimpressive campaign have left Erik ten Hag’s future at Man United in doubt.

Thomas Tuchel, who is expected to leave Bayern Munich this summer, is reportedly eager to replace Ten Hag.

Christian Falk, BILD sport journalist, now asserts that Tuchel’s “primary goal” is to get the United job.

Falk updated fans on X about the German manager’s future intentions.

Although the German manager envisions himself returning to west London, his top goal is to move to Old Trafford.

Given his track record of leading Chelsea to their greatest success and winning league titles in Germany and France, Tuchel is undoubtedly qualified to coach United.

There will be no shortage of suitors for him in the summer as several prominent teams will be seeking a new manager.

Every Man United defeat brings speculation around the manager’s job at Old Trafford. Whether it was the home defeat against Fulham or the away defeat against Manchester City, the uncertainty surrounding ten Hag’s job at the club is just not going.

That is the pressure of managing a club like United where you are under severe scrutiny every other week. Whoever becomes the new manager of the Red Devils, the first and foremost attribute he should have is the ability to deal with pressure coming from all directions.
