Super Eagles assistant coach Daniel Ogunmodede has said qualifying for the 2024 African Nations Championship is of great importance to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Home Eagles held Black Galaxies of Ghana to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their qualifying tie in Accra on Sunday.
Ogunmodede expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in the game.
“I am satisfied with the draw,” Ogunmodede said after the game.

“Now it is for us to qualify for the CHAN.
“Qualification will add more value to our league, the players and the indigenous coaches.”
The reverse fixture will hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday.
The overall winners will advance to the delayed 2024 CHAN to be played in February in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
