Charlette Renegade is hopeful to be back on AEW television soon.
Charlette, one-half of the Renegade Twins team, has not wrestled since the December 28, 2023 episode of Ring Of Honor TV. During a recent appearance on Women’s Wrestling Talk, Charlette told host TK Trinidad what contributed to her absence, and when she might be back.
“At the start of the year, I had a small incident occur that put me out for six months. We’re quickly approaching that six months now, but what I’ve been doing during that six months is I learned how to cut hair. I’ve become a barber, as kinda like a side job while I’m out,” Charlette explained. “I’m here and I’m supporting Robyn and trying to help her behind the scenes as much as I can, trying to be there for her as much as I can. But we’re quickly approaching the end of our six months, so hopefully you guys should start seeing me more back out there.”
“When she comes back, y’all, watch out,” Robyn replied.
Later in the show, Charlette shared how eager she is to get back to work.
“I just want to be back so bad, I just want to travel with [Robyn] and just be the Renegade Twins, you know?” Charlette added.

More on Charlette Renegade
On May 16, Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that AEW sources claimed Charlette was dealing with concussion issues. Charlette later disputed this report publicly and said she would tell her story on her own time.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp later wrote that Charlette Renegade reached out to him privately and denied the report. AEW sources were “adamant” that this was the case. However, future physical updates would be left to Charlette, who was working on getting cleared.
It’s worth noting that the Women’s Wrestling Talk interview was likely recorded before the Fightful report about Charlotte’s status. At one point, Trinidad mentions Double Or Nothing being “three or four weeks away.” This would give some indication of when the interview was recorded.
During Charlette’s absence, Robyn has worked as a singles star. She recently worked with names like Deonna Purrazzo and Thunder Rosa on AEW television.
