Charli xcx opened up during an interview on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. The 32-year-old Brat superstar appeared on the show on Wednesday (October 2), and she opened up about her upcoming wedding to fiance George Daniel. She also reflected on being parodied by Bowen Yang during the season premiere of Saturday Night Live last weekend. Keep reading to find out more… Charli told host Howard Stern that both she and her Sweat Tour partner Troye Sivan “had an inkling” that the late-night show was going to spoof them. “And so we were very excited about it and I loved Bowen [Yang],” she said. “And I honestly, I think he did a great job. I was very impressed with the hair texture, actually. I thought it was a really good wig. So, yeah, it was good. It was cool.” The hitmaker also reflected on her engagement. The couple shared the exciting news in November 2023. Where are they at on planning their big day? “We are kind of like planning it slowly. I don’t know. It’s like, we’re both very like chill and we kind of just wanna have a party,” Charli explained. “It’s our vibe. Like neither of us are particularly formal about like marriage, I guess, or care about the formalities of like the ceremony or whatever. We just like wanna be together forever and have a party with our friends, is our vibe. So that’s kind of like what we’re aiming for wedding wise.” Bowen also parodied another famous pop star during the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live.
