Charlotte Flair suffered a knee injury during a scary fall off the top rope on the December 8th, 2023 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which left her sidelined for months. She underwent surgery in January and is showcasing impressive recovery speed. Recently, she shared a clip with fans to keep them updated with her recovery progress.
Charlotte will miss WrestleMania season for the first time in three years, and only the second time in the last eight years, as she recovers from the injury. With 7 weeks already passed since her surgery, she is determined to return to the ring as soon as possible. On Wednesday, she took to Twitter/ X to post a video of her doing rehab exercises on her left knee.
While no specific timeframe for a comeback has been set, Charlotte was expected to miss at least 9 months before returning to the ring. However, she has previously stated that her recovery process is going ahead of schedule, which might speed things up for her return.
Charlotte’s break coincided with the return of her husband, Andrade, to WWE. The luchador returned to the company in January after an absence of years.
