Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton didn’t just cut a promo on SmackDown—they went rogue.
On the April 4 episode of WWE SmackDown at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, Flair and Stratton delivered a fiery segment that had fans on their feet and producers raising their eyebrows. According to WrestleVotes, “Charlotte & Tiffany said very little of what was in the rundown for them. Off script quite a bit.”
The segment was supposed to build toward their WrestleMania 41 showdown, but the two superstars took matters into their own hands, escalating a verbal war that got personal quick.
Flair tried to play the crowd, calling the cheers “power,” but Stratton fired back, “Outside the ring you ain’t the queen of sht.”* She didn’t stop there—Stratton jabbed at Flair’s family legacy, pointing out she’ll always be “second to her daddy,” and then twisted the knife even deeper with a reference to Flair’s past marriages, saying, “What is that, zero and three?”
Charlotte didn’t hold back either. She tried to turn the tables by mocking Stratton’s voice and throwing out a dig about “why Ludwig Kaiser is in your DMs,” but even that didn’t seem to shake the Women’s Champion, who left with a smirk and the Chicago crowd chanting her name.
WWE may not have planned for that level of shade, but they got it—and fans loved every second. With the road to WrestleMania now littered with unscripted fire, their title match in Las Vegas just got a lot more personal.
What did you think of Charlotte and Tiffany ditching the script on SmackDown? Did it add more heat to their WrestleMania feud or go too far? Drop your thoughts and feedback in the comments below—we want to hear it all.
