Charlotte Flair was seen backstage at NXT last night as rumors of her WWE return swirl.

Flair has been sidelined with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus since December 2023. While she is expected to return “sooner rather than later, ” no date was announced for her comeback.

Previous reports indicated that they did not expect her to return at all in 2024. It looks like 2025 could be the year Charlotte Flair returns to the ring, given her recent Twitter posts. The former Women’s Champion was photographed alongside Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. She posted the image to her Twitter account, with a caption saying she wants to be in a “bad bitch girl gang”.

“Some girls want to be a princess when they grow up, I wanted to be in a bad b**ch girl gang.” Charlotte Flair said.

This could hint are her potential future in the WWE. Charlotte Flair could be intent on having her own faction when she returns to TV, although the Tweet could end up leading to nothing.

However, Lash Legend seems happy to invite her into their group. She replied to Charlotte Flair’s Tweet, telling her to “Let em know Queen… while you stunt on ‘em!!!!”

Ric Flair thinks that Charlotte Flair is better than he ever was.

Ric Flair recently spoke with Busted Open Radio about his daughter Charlotte. He gushed about the former WWE Women’s Champion, saying that she is “much better than I ever was”.

He added that he is “honored” to have the last name as her, which Bully Ray noted was very high praise from the two-time WWE Hall of Famer.

“I think it’s taken her this long to get it because she’s always been so hard on herself.” Ric Flair said. “She could have the best match in the world, and she’ll question just one thing—something that nobody even notices. Maybe a few of us would see it, but she’s just in a whole other place now. I mean, she’s so much better than I ever was. Oh my God. I mean, give me a break. I’m just honored to be. I’m honored to have her last name.”
