Chelsea and Liverpool have made PSV Eindhoven star Johan Bakayoko a top transfer target for the summer window, according to reports.
Manchester United were strongly linked to Bakayoko in January while fellow Premier League club Brentford previously saw a €40m bid rejected.
Bakayoko will reportedly cost €50m-€60m as Chelsea and Liverpool face a battle with Manchester City for his signature.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Germain giants Borussia Dortmund are also monitoring Bakayoko’s situation.
The 20-year-old Belgium international has spent his entire senior career at Dutch club PSV, having progressed through their youth academy.
He can be deployed as a winger or as a forward and has impressed in the Eredivisie this term, producing six goals and eight assists across 25 games.
Bakayoko scored in PSV’s 1-1 Champions League draw against Lens earlier this season and also featured in both group games against Arsenal.
Bakayoko helped PSV lift the KNVB Cup last season and has been named Eredivisie Talent of the Month on multiple occasions.
He looks set to land a Eredivisie title this term – with PSV currently sat 10 points clear at the top of the Dutch top-flight table.
Bakayoko is currently under contract at PSV until the summer of 2026 and has been capped nine times by Belgium.
