Palmeiras centre forward Thalys has been linked with the move to Europe in recent weeks.
According to a report from Calciomercato. It, Manchester United and Chelsea are keen on signing the 18-year-old Brazilian attacker and they will have to pay a fee of around €35-40 million.
Thalys is highly rated across Europe and clubs like Juventus, Manchester City, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are keen on the player as well. All of these clubs have the financial muscle to pay the reported asking price and it will be interesting to see where the Brazilian attacker ends up.
The Brazilian is a prodigious talent with a big future ahead of him and he could prove to be a solid future investment for these clubs.
Manchester United need to add attacking depth to their side and the 18-year-old would be a long-term prospect for them. They have signed an impressive young striker in Rasmus Hojlund and the addition of Thalys could sort out their striking department for the foreseeable future.

As far as Chelsea are concerned, it is no secret that they need attacking reinforcements. While the Brazilian might not be able to improve them instantly, he could be a long-term asset for them.
Regular football in the Premier League would help him develop and fulfil his tremendous potential. Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino have a proven track record when it comes to nurturing young players and they could help the 18-year-old develop into a star.
