Recalled from loan yesterday by the Chelsea Blues, David Datro Fofana (21) should not stay long in the English capital. According to The Athletic, Burnley have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Chelsea to loan the Ivorian striker until the end of the season. Vincent Kompany’s team has been struggling since returning to the top flight. 19th in the ranking, the team must strengthen itself as the Belgian coach declared on Thursday.

“There is a good chance that we will strengthen some positions”. The arrival of the Chelsea striker would be a major reinforcement with a view to maintaining the team. Even if he only scored one goal in the Bundesliga with Union Berlin, the Ivorian was a regular starter, notably in the Champions League where he scored against Napoli.
