Chelsea made the arrival of their new coach official this Monday.

Looking for a successor to Mauricio Pochettino, fired one year from the end of his contract, Chelsea have found it. The Blues officially appointed Enzo Maresca as the club’s new coach this Monday.

Aged 44, the Italian technician has signed a five-year contract, plus an optional year, with the residents of Stamford Bridge. He arrives from Leicester, promoted to the Premier League, who will receive nearly 12 million euros in compensation.

The former disciple of Pep Guardiola will arrive at Chelsea with several of his assistants, including former Blues goalkeeper Willy Caballero.
