Chelsea Green is known for being one of the most positive people in professional wrestling, but she isn’t afraid to speak out against those she feels need to be called out. This includes Tessa Blanchard, and Green recently made it clear that she is disgusted by a fan who defended Blanchard.
Green recently claimed that WWE has the best locker room in pro wrestling right now. However, this led to a fan claiming on Twitter that the women who drove Tessa Blanchard to suicidal thoughts out of pettiness and jealousy should be the ones who need to get beaten up, saying, “Maybe the girls who drove Tessa Blanchard to suicidal thoughts out of pettiness and jealously are the ones who need their ass beat…”
Chelsea Green tweeted that she felt “the ick” when a fan defended Tessa Blanchard, calling her a racist bully, making it clear she was clearly disgusted by the fan’s actions, saying, “This is giving me the ick… you thinking defending a racist bully is cool. Someone tell them, lol.”
This stems from Tessa Blanchard stating that she thought about ending her life after facing the racism allegations. Regardless, Blanchard is now back in TNA Wrestling and is a mainstay on television despite backlash from fans.
Chelsea Green’s criticism of defending Blanchard points to a bigger issue in wrestling: the importance of standing up against racism and bullying and it’s clear Green will criticize anyone who defends Blanchard no matter what.
