Chelsea Green has listed her favourite Canadians wrestling in WWE today – not including herself, of course.
The Canadian star recently became the first woman to win the WWE Women’s United States Championship. While she is not wrestling in the Elimination Chamber in Toronto, she has named her favourite stars from Canada currently wrestling in the WWE.
Chelsea Green sat down with Conman167 and was asked who her favourite Canadian wrestlers were right now. She immediately named Natalya as one of the best. She credited her not just for her incredible career, but also for bringing wrestling to the mainstream with Total Divas.
The US Women’s Champion briefly mentioned NXT’s Ethan Page, but went on to gush about Arianna Grace. Chelsea Green revealed that she sees Grace as having a huge future in WWE. She complimented her character work and thinks with her father (Santino Marella) helping her, she cannot go wrong.
“I think Natty is just so amazing. She’s had such an incredible career and has done so much for women’s wrestling—whether it’s the Guinness World Records she’s broken or even just being on Total Divas and opening up wrestling to mainstream audiences. She’s one that I think is so underrated, even though we still put her on a pedestal. I believe she has so much more left in her.” Chelsea Green said.
As for an up-and-coming talent—okay, I’m not including Ethan Page – and I do love Ethan Page) – but an upcoming ‘girly’ would obviously be Arianna Grace from NXT. She’s Santino’s daughter, and I’ve self-appointed her as ‘Glamander-in-Chief.’ I just think she is going to do incredible things in this industry, especially with her dad by her side. I believe she’s now found her groove in character wrestling.” added Chelsea Green.
