Chelsea Green walked into Saturday Night’s Main event with a big mission, and she walked out as the first-ever Women’s United States Champion. During the December 27 episode of WWE SmackDown, Green was on hand, and she was very happy about her accomplishment.

The big Women’s United States Championship celebration kicked off the second hour of SmackDown this week. Naturally, Chelsea Green was more than ready to rub her victory in the faces of everyone who ever doubted her. She was also more than game to gain a ton of heat while she was at it.

This championship celebration included the ring decorated like a presidential speech was about to happen. Piper Niven introduced Chelsea Green and gave it a ton of gusto before the Women’s US Champion came out looking like Lady Liberty.

Chelsea Green was very happy about turning the blue brand into “The Green House.” She was very happy to be champion, and she wanted all the accolades she could receive as the first-ever and longest reigning Women’s United States Champion. Green then shaded Piper Niven by not naming her as her biggest supporter, instead Green named herself only.

After telling Michin “good riddance,” Chelsea Green said she was shocked that Michin ever made it that far in the Women’s US Title tournament in the first place. Then Green challenged fans to ask themselves “not what Chelsea Green can do for you, but what you can do for Chelsea Green.” At that time, Michin came out to ruin the Green party.

Michin came out with a kendo stick, and she immediately took out Piper Niven at ringside. Then Michin got in the ring and Green was able to get away without taking a shot, as Niven carried her off.

Chelsea Green as really come into her own during his last run in WWE. She was released by Vince McMahon, but then Triple H later brought her back and started using her in strategic spots. Now, he has elevated her to champion status once again, as she is also a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. It doesn’t see that she’s going to let that title go without a fight.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis first introduced the newly created title during the November 8 episode of SmackDown. The match determined who would make history by becoming the first-ever Women’s United States Champion. It was later announced that the RAW Women’s Division will also get its own Intercontinental Title, and that tournament is ongoing on the red brand. Now, Chelsea Green is having a lot of fun with that brand-new title belt.
