Chelsea reportedly feel in control of the transfer of Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao Willian, according to Fabrizio Romano on his official account on X.
The Brazilian forward is one of the most exciting young talents in world football at the moment, and it seems Stamford Bridge could be his next destination as things progress well for the Blues.
See below for details from Romano as he plays down links with Bayern Munich, stating that Chelsea feel confident over the Estevao deal, having agreed personal terms with the player last week and with an improved bid to his club seemingly now in the works…

Chelsea have a number of top young talents on their books at the moment, such as Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer and Malo Gusto, while Kendry Paez is also another wonderkid who’ll be on his way to the west London club in the not-too-distant future.
Estevao would be another superb purchase to help build one of the most promising squads in world football, but some CFC fans will also no doubt be hoping to see one or two more experienced players joining the club as well.
Estevao transfer: Chelsea continue youth policy, but do they need to mix it up more?
Chelsea can, in many ways, be admired for trying to build a long-term project built around the best young players, rather than chasing ready-made superstars as they did for so much of the Roman Abramovich era.
Estevao of PalmeirasStill, the Blues’ habit of big spending and frequently changing managers actually served them very well for the last two decades or so, and fans have come to expect certain standards from this team.
At the moment, the long-term project is not really bearing fruit, so it remains to be seen if Chelsea should continue in this direction or try being a bit more flexible, blending youth and experience a bit more than they have.
Estevao could be great in a few years’ time, but Chelsea also need success now, and their transfer targets should go some way to helping deliver that.
