Chelsea have reportedly been dealt a major injury blow as summer signing Omari Kellyman has picked up another injury that is set to keep him out for two months.
Kellyman hasn’t featured for the Blues yet due to fitness issues, and Fabrizio Romano has now reported on the summer arrival from Aston Villa suffering another hamstring problem that could keep him out for another extended period.
See below for details on this disappointing piece of Chelsea injury news, with fans of the west Londoners no doubt cursing their luck after so many other similar injury problems with players like Christopher Nkunku, Romeo Lavia and Reece James last season…

Chelsea signed a lot of new players this summer, so it’s not clear how much Kellyman would have been able to fight his way into Enzo Maresca’s first-team plans anyway, but it also means he hasn’t been able to go out on loan to get valuable experience and playing time.

Chelsea clearly have issues at the moment in a number of areas, and it seems like injuries are another significant concern as so many of their important players seem to be sustaining blows that keep them out for a long time period.
Kellyman won’t exactly be missed right now, but it’s still a concern that he’s arrived with these problems and it will slow down his development a bit.
