Exited in the 68th minute during the debacle against the Gunners on Tuesday evening, Enzo Fernández said goodbye to the end of the season. His injury is more serious than expected. Affected in the groin for more than a month, the Chelsea midfielder must end his club season according to the Daily Mail. The Blues will therefore have to do without their Argentinian world champion in the final sprint of the Premier League.

Still far from European qualification, Chelsea must face Aston Villa and Tottenham in the next two matches. The Argentine will need surgery to be fit in time for the Copa America (June 20-July 16). Crowned three years ago, Argentina hopes to retain its title this summer in the United States. In 2021, Enzo Fernández was not yet part of the party with the Albiceleste.
